Facilitation: The New Secret Weapon for Professional Speakers Many speakers offer more than a speech; they provide training, consulting, facilitation, coaching and products to add more value to their clients and diversity their business model. This session will explore how facilitation can complement your speaking business and how to position facilitation as a value-added service. You will also receive an in-depth resource to help you propose a package of services to your clients.
Each participant will receive a customized handout and will have the opportunity to purchase Kristin's audiobook, Facilitation Skills: Practical Tips & Techniques to Increase Your Effectiveness at the end of her program. As a high stakes meeting facilitator, trainer and keynote speaker, Kristin has worked with thousands of senior executives, project managers and team leaders in Canada and the USA, challenging their traditional notions about teamwork. She is known for her concrete approach to teamwork and a treasure trove of practical concepts, tools and techniques her clients can apply immediately to see positive, substantive results. A wide range of companies depend on Kristin for insight into what works best for teams today: Marathon Oil Company, Caterpillar Inc., James Madison University, College of William and Mary, US Armed Forces, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Internal Revenue Service, International Maritime Organization, International Facilities Management Association...just to name a few. Featured in numerous publications such as Harvard Business Update, USA Today, Selling Power, Kristin knows what it takes to lead, facilitate and participate on high performing teams. She currently serves on the National Board of Directors for the National Speakers Association of the United States and will be the National President in 2010.
